Elevate your posts by including image galleries in your post, so that your users can view your post in pictures. The image gallery feature allows you to upload multiple images in a post for users to view when they're reading the post.
When opening a post, users will have the ability to scroll through multiple images in a carousel.
There are multiple ways to create and add an image gallery to a post:
- Accepted image types includes: PNG, JPEG, JPG or GIF.
- Maximum image size is 20MB
Upload images from the SkoolBag app
Start by creating a new post via the SkoolBag app.
Navigate to the “+” located in the bottom right-hand corner of the app screen. Click on the “+” icon, and then click the icon with the camera. This will open the file uploading pop up box.
There are two ways to upload images:
Using the camera
Click “Take Photo” option in the pop up box, this will open the camera mode on your device.
Capture the photo and then click “OK”, if you aren't happy with it, click “retry” and take another one!
Once you capture the perfect moment, click “OK” the image will upload into the post.
Using mobile image library
Click the “Choose From Library” option in the pop up box, this will open the image library in your device. Select the image/s you want, and it will be uploaded into the post
Click on “Post” on the top right-hand corner of the screen once your post is ready to go live.
Upload image from the Skoolbag Console
Navigate to the image gallery section, this is located below the text editor. Click on the Image Gallery then the image upload tool will appear.
There are two ways to upload images;
Drag and drop the image
Simply navigate to the selected image in the desktop/folder, and drag and drop it into the image gallery box in your browser. The image will appear in the section once it's uploaded.
Upload via file explorer
Click the “Select to upload” link in the image gallery section, this will open the file explorer window in your computer.
Select the image/images you want to upload and click “open” in the explorer window. The image will appear in the section once it's uploaded.
Step 3 (If the file is incorrect)
If the image is incorrect, navigate your cursor to the image you wish to delete, then on top of the image it will display a trash can icon.
Click on the trash can icon to remove the image. Afterwards, follow the above step 2 again to re-upload the file.
