When a form is completed the form submission is accessible on the SkoolBag Console and via email to the selected recipient/s. This article shows you the following:

How to set up submission notifications

To set a form recipient, navigate to the form (or when creating a new form) and look for the purple side panel on the right-hand side. Find the field called "Send submissions notifications to" and use this dropdown to search and choose the recipients.

You can also choose multiple people to receive the form submissions.

How to add conditional notifications

Useful for instances where a person doesn't need to receive all form submissions and only some forms based on a selection (perhaps a class, year, yes/no answer), conditional notifications allow you to set this up so it happens automatically.

Some example scenarios include:

  • Absentee forms: to auto-send submissions based on the class or year to the classroom/roll call teacher or the year coordinator to process.

  • To organise or create a list of volunteers: If a parent ticks yes to a volunteer, this form submission can be automatically forwarded to the person coordinating the volunteer group.

Step 1

To set this up, navigate to the form (edit or create) and then to the purple side panel located on the right. Then click on Add conditional notifications.

Step 2

A pop-up window will appear which will identify the dropdown fields and yes/no fields already present in the form.

Step 3

Once you're happy with the settings, simply click the x button to exit out of the pop-up window and save the form by clicking Save in the top right-hand corner. Once saved, you'll be taken back to the list of forms.
