The SkoolBag eNewsletter uses "Modules" to build standardised sections of your newsletter, saving you time while creating beautiful newsletters, quickly.

Below is an overview of the key modules available to build-out your newsletter.

The modules explained in this article are as follows:

1. Header module

Use this module to your school logo, and a title to the newsletter.

Editing the module

Scroll the cursor on top of the Header Module and click on Edit Header. From here, you can change the following:

  • Add a title.

  • Add a subtitle.

  • Choose from three different Header Layouts.

  • Add the school logo.

To add the school logo to the header module, click on Add image. After uploading the image click on Save. The logo will appear on the top of the header.

2. Title Module

Use this module for headings and subheadings. This is a great way to break your newsletter into different content sections. There is also the option to add background images.

Editing the module

Scroll the cursor on top of the Title module and click on Edit Title. From here, you can change the following.

  • Add a title.

  • Choose from three different Layout types to position the title.

  • Add an image behind the title.

Once you have made the required changes click on Save.

3. Text Module

Use this module for a short or long paragraph with a heading.

Editing the module

Scroll the cursor on top of the Title module and click on > Edit Text. From here, you can now change the following:

  • Add a subtitle and add content.

  • Formatting such as highlighting the text, bold, Italic, underline, add bullet points, embed a URL, and add a table to the content.

Once you have made the required changes click on Save.

4. Text & Image Module

Use this module for short or long paragraphs with a heading and an image.

Editing the module

Scroll the cursor on top of the Text & Image module and click on Edit Text. From here, you can now change the following.

  • Choose from four different Layout change to the position of the image.

  • Add a subtitle and add content.

  • Formatting such as highlighting the text, bold, italic, underline, add bullet points, embed a URL, and add a table to the content.

  • Add an Image.

Once you have made the required changes, click on Save.

5. Images Module

Use this module to display one large image or many images in a gallery fashion. It's a great way to exhibit P&C flyers and adverts or display multiple images at once.

Editing the module

Scroll the cursor on top of the Images Module module and click on Edit Gallery. From here, you can now change the following.

  • Choose from three different layouts to display the images.

  • Add a title to the image and add a description to the images.

Once you have made the required changes click on Save.

6. Events Module

Use this module to give information about an Event such as date, time and location.

Editing the module

Scroll the cursor on top of the Events Module and click on Edit Event. From here, change the following:

  • Add a title of the event, add a description of the event.

  • Add the start date and end date of the event.

  • Add the start time and the end time of the event.

  • Add the location of the event and choose whether to include the map of the location or not.

Once you have made the required changes click on Save.

7. File Module

Use this module to upload documents such as PDF, Excel, Word file. Note there is a file size limit of 5MB.

Editing the module

Scroll the mouse on top of the File Module and click on Edit File. From here, you can now change the following.

  • Add a PDF, Excel, Word.

  • Add a title and a description to inform the parents about the uploaded PDF.

Once you have made the required changes click on Save.

8. Web/Media Module

Use this module to attach a web link to the text. This is also used to link Youtube videos. This is a great way to store and share rich media

Editing the module

Scroll the mouse on top of the Web/Media Module module and click on Edit File. From here, you can now change the following.

  • Choose from four different Layout types change the position of the URL within the module.

  • Add a subtitle and description of the attached link.

Once you have made the required changes click on Save.

9. Contact Module

Use this module to add your organisation's details.

For example, school name, address, phone, school email, social media and school logo

Editing the module

Scroll the mouse on top of the Contact Module and click on Edit Contact. From here, you can now change the following.

  • Choose from four different layout types to display to contact details.

  • Add a brief description of the school.

  • Add the contact details of the school and link the social media pages of the school.

  • Add an image or a logo of the school.

Once you have made the required changes click on Save.
